Are you interested in pursuing an internship, and EPSRC funded?

The OPdA and the Careers Service are piloting a new scheme to facilitate and encourage postdocs to seek work experience outside of their research group.

Funding is available to cover your salary while you spend 2-4 weeks working in a different environment which is related to your research area. For example, you might seek experience in a company working on similar technology, or find an organisation where you can discover how your research might be translated in to policy.

To help you find opportunities, and learn about how to make the most of a short internship in your career planning, Liz Simmonds will be offering this introductory session covering how the scheme will work, and how you can get involved.

This initiative is funded by the EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account
