Most research funders (research councils, charities and foundations) have introduced policies on research data management. The general expectation is that data from publicly funded research projects should be made openly available with as few restrictions as possible. The University of Cambridge developed support services to help researchers meeting funders’ requirements for data management and sharing. During the Open Data information session you will learn about:
- New funders’ requirements for research data sharing – what do researchers need to do now?
- Budgeting for data management in grant applications
- Good data management – strategy and benefits for the future
- University services in support of good data management and sharing
The session is held at two different locations:
Tuesday 19 January, 10.30 – 11.30, Addenbrookes site – register here.
