Activities, groups and information

Children's centres provide health and family support services, and information for children aged 0 to 5 years of age and their families. Libraries have a wide range of children's books and provide groups, activities and services such as Rhymetime, Storytime and Bookstart. They can be a good source of information for what activities are happening locally and provide booklets and magazines that list events. Activities also include play groups, which are a good way to meet other families. For information on fun things to do with children in Cambridgeshire, visit The NVS, supported by the University of Cambridge, also runs child-friendly events and activities.
