Researchers on fixed-term and open-ended contracts are one of the largest staff groups in Cambridge, and face distinctive challenges both in orientating themselves within the University and in developing their careers. Whether a first-time postdoc or on your first research contract in Cambridge, 'Getting Connected in Cambridge' will provide invaluable information on how to navigate life as a researcher here.

As well as an official welcome from the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, there will be brief interactive presentations from the Careers Service and Personal and Professional Development (PPD), one of whose main roles is to support the University's research staff.

It also provides an opportunity to meet new and returning postdoctoral researchers.

Duration: One session of two and a half hours with half an hour break. Refreshments will be served during the break.

Please register here to attend the afternoon session on 7 December from 1:30-4:30pm at the Postdoc Centre @ Mill Lane.

For administrative enquiries please .
