Learn how to sell your research to the media.

You will pick up some tips on best media practice and how to spark interest in your specialism.

Participants will learn

  • how to prepare for and what to expect of radio and TV interviews 
  • the dos and don'ts for interviews
  • about the support that the University can give them, both for publicising their research in print media and via radio and TV

There will be ample time for questions and answers.

The course is organised by the OPdA and delivered by trained journalists who now work in the University’s Communications team.

Two postdoctoral fellowship schemes managed by the OPdA are open for the 2019 round of applications - the Borysiewicz Biomedical Sciences Fellowship Programme and the Canada-UK Postdoctoral Fellowships for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
