If so, Cambridge Enterprise and the Entrepreneurial Postdocs of Cambridge (EPOC) are holding a workshop on the skills you will need to get your idea off the ground – run by Adelina Chalmers.

Adelina helps Cambridge University start-ups secure millions of pounds of investment and specialises in helping researchers become entrepreneurs.

The workshop will cover:

  • The dos and don’ts of writing a business plan
  • How do decide for yourself if this is a business with real potential
  • If applying to competition: what the judges will want to see in your application and why

This workshop is held in conjunction with the 2018 Postdoc Business Plan Competition, open for entries from the 2nd May, and participants will find this event useful either as a standalone workshop or if planning to enter the competition.

Places for this free event are limited, so please register here today to secure your place.

*Postdocs are welcome to enter the competition with any idea, even if it is not related to their research at the University.
