This will be your chance to meet the Committee and find out what it’s like to work at the University, as well as meeting other LGBT+ colleagues. It will be a relaxed and informal event.

The event will take place from 6pm upstairs at The Maypole, Portugal Place, Cambridge CB5 8AF. To help give an idea of numbers, you can sign up here. If you’re not out at work and would rather remain anonymous, you’re of course welcome to just turn up.

The Network has an email list to keep members updated about all future events as well as useful information: click here to join. You will need a University affiliation to join, but if you would rather add your personal email rather than your work email, please contact , who will add you manually. The list is moderated and only the LGBT Staff Network Committee has access to the membership list. You can also join the Staff Network's Facebook group.

The Network is here to support all individuals who work for the University, a College or an associated institution and who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and/or Transgender. They organise social events and networking opportunities throughout the year and help arrange events to raise awareness and celebrate diversity at the University and in Cambridge. They are also a place to provide a forum for discussing diversity issues at work or study and for raising issues in a safe environment.
