Current Work

Since the OPdA was created, we have undertaken a range of activities in areas of immediate need which have resulted in significant achievements in several key areas:

  • Provision of facilities and spaces for the postdoctoral community and services – the Postdoc Centres
  • Coherent communication of the wide range of existing support and opportunities for postdocs across the University and beyond
  • Engaging with postdocs at the Mill Lane and Biomedical Campus Postdoc Centres
  • Data collection, assessment and representation of postdoc needs and experiences
  • Engagement with national stakeholders, funders and policy
  • Development of new services and projects complementing and strengthening existing support.
