New online course - Academic Consulting: The Fundamentals

last modified May 23, 2017 03:57 PM
Cambridge Enterprise has just launched a new, free online course to learn about consultancy.

Are you considering becoming a consultant? Perhaps you are already consulting, but want to learn more about how to work more effectively, get the best price for your skills or simplify admin work?

If you are member of Cambridge University, you can now take a free online course to learn more about consultancy and about how Cambridge Enterprise can help to facilitate your consultancy project.

Cambridge Enterprise has created this online course to help you effectively manage consultancy projects, sharing expertise on best practice, tips on making life easier and trouble-shooting for some of the key issues consultants can face.

The course also explains how the Cambridge Enterprise Consultancy Services team can provide support throughout the process.

The online course includes:

  • Benefits and impact of undertaking consultancy work
  • Experience sharing from academics experienced in consultancy
  • Issues surrounding confidentiality, intellectual property and liability
  • The benefits of using Cambridge Enterprise to undertake consultancy more effectively

This course is designed for all levels of experience, whether you are already acting as a consultant or are considering doing so. Anyone with a Raven account is able to take the course for no charge.

Please note that Cambridge Enterprise Consultancy Services support is mainly restricted to those who are currently employed by the University (with some exceptions).

Go to the course here (you will need your Raven login).
