Enterprise Fair in Berlin: Digital Startup Ecosystem - apply by 27 September

Join junior researchers from across Europe 6-7 November in Berlin and learn about entrepreneurship and corporate venturing. Attendance is by application only.

From health services, over chemical processes and digital publishing to programmatic advertising - digital technologies change our personal and professional life. This change is enabled by entrepreneurs who take the opportunities of a newly arising startup ecosystem.

Hosted by Deutsche Bahn and in partnership with the Freie Universität Berlin, this event, we connect postdocs and young academics from across Europe with corporates and decision makers from the startup ecosystem in an intimate environment.

Extend your personal and professional network with postdocs from Austria, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, and Scotland.

Learn from successful cases of digital business and from fail-stories of experienced entrepreneurs.

No matter if you are just interested to learn more, have your first idea, or already started an entrepreneurial project; participate in workshops to take the next step.

You are invited to join junior researchers from across Europe to learn about entrepreneurship and corporate venturing. Researchers will have the unique opportunity to gain advice from start-up CEOs, corporate entrepreneurs, marketing and HR experts, IP lawyer and angel investors. A limited number of places are available and attendance is by application only.

Travel bursaries are available to postdocs/junior researchers from participating institutions(*) travelling from outside of Berlin to cover the cost of travel, dinner and bed and breakfast.  Postdocs from these institutions(*) need to be available for travel on 6th-7th November 2017.  Please note that all content will be delivered in English. 

There are a limited amount of places available to postdocs from Cambridge and we urge you to apply soon.

The deadline for applications is midday on 27 September 2017 and successful applicants will be notified by 2 October 2017, after which they will be asked to register directly with the organisers, Deutsche Bahn. Details on how to register will be provided.
