NERC Innovation Placements 2017

last modified Jun 06, 2017 02:57 PM
NERC’s Innovation Placements call is inviting researchers to apply for six to 12 month placements based in business, policy and civil organisations.

The researcher will be expected to spend between 80-100% of their time in their host organisation’s premises, demonstrating how their partner can best make use of scientific knowledge and outputs, leading to longer term, self-sustaining activities for the host.

Applications should be in the NERC Innovation priority areas of:

  • infrastructure
  • risk management
  • sustainable food production
  • environmental data
  • natural resources
  • and policy and government.

This is an open call but NERC has also identified a number of partner organisations that wish to host a Placement to carry out specific directed activities:

More details including information regarding eligibility can be found here. Please note this call will close on June 29th.

For any further information, please contact: Tessa Edgecombe on tjed@nerc.ac.uk or Innovation@nerc.ac.uk.
