last modified Nov 02, 2018 10:14 AM
Shaping Horizons 2019 is a novel science-entrepreneurship diplomacy initiative and will be the first of a series of biennial summits with the ambitious purpose of bringing together leaders from two different regions of the world to discuss pressing challenges and promote diplomatic ties.

The first summit will bring together the UK and Latin America and will feature 150 extraordinary young delegates as well as 100 leaders from government, industry and academia from the two regions.

Shaping Horizons 2019 will take place in Cambridge from the 9th to the 13th of September 2019, and has the official support from the University of Cambridge and Cambridge Hub, part of the Global Shapers Community which is an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

There are currently 15+ extraordinary confirmed speakers and 15+ people on the organising committee.

Shaping Horizons is now open for additional motivated students and young academics to join the team and drive specific areas of responsibility, such as establishing partnerships, developing and executing marketing strategies, and continuing to build our already impressive list of world leaders who will attend and speak at the summit.
