University visa loan scheme to launch in April

last modified Mar 06, 2018 04:04 PM
In early April, the University will launch a new visa loan scheme for all current and prospective staff, and their dependants, who hold or require a Tier 2 visa sponsored by the University.

The University will offer an interest free loan up to the value of £8000, repayable over an agreed period, toward meeting the costs of obtaining these visas.

This scheme has been launched in recognition of the escalating costs of UK visas, and the with acknowledgment of the increasing unaffordability of these costs for those at an early stage in their career.

Further details of how to apply for a Tier 2 visa loan, and the terms and conditions of holding these loans, will be published shortly.

We will provide a further update once it is available.
