Mentor Form


  • Meetings are regular rather than as required (4-6 times a year)
  • Meetings generally last at least 30 minutes (but not too long so no more than 60 minutes!)
  • Mentee is responsible for scheduling meetings
  • Mentee sets the agenda
  • Meetings should ideally be on neutral ground  (not always possible)
  • Focus is on building the mentee’s problem solving/self-efficacy skills, exploring solutions rather than advice/solutions
  • Either might prepare a summary, for their own use, which details the main issues and agreed actions

Mentoring Topics  
The minimum requirement for your mentoring meetings is 4 (~1 hr) sessions in a 7-12 month period. Can you commit to this time?
