CSAR visit to Airbus Defence & Space

Join CSAR on a visit to Airbus DS to see the manufacture of telecommunications satellites, space mechanisms and components, Earth observation satellites, and the Mars yard test area where autonomous navigation is being developed for the European Space Agency ExoMars mission.

Technology and engineering requirements are especially stringent and demanding in defence, security and space exploitation. Airbus DS has a tradition of strong relationships with schools and universities.

The visit will include seeing the manufacture of telecommunications satellites, space mechanisms and components, Earth observation satellites, and the Mars yard test area where autonomous navigation is being developed for the European Space Agency ExoMars mission.

The tour will end with a Q&A/discussion session.

Tickets cost £10 and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
