EIT Food Winter School

Are you a postdoc doing research in a food-related area or research that is relevant to the food industry? Would you like to network with others interested in innovating in and around Food? Would you like to hear about how different people have taken their innovation to market?

You are cordially invited to the EIT Food Winter School entrepreneurial panel talk and reception to meet and engage with a diverse group of delegates. 

Entrepreneurial Panel “Taking an Innovation to Market in the Food Sector”: 4-6pm

The panellists for the evening are: 

  • Dr. Matt Davey, Department of Plant Sciences ,University of Cambridge
  • Matt Mclaren, Co-founder and CEO of Entomics – an EIT Food Rising Star
  • Tine Roche, Co-Founder of Cambridge Cookery
  • Dr. Vaiva Kalnikaite, Co-founder and CEO of Dovetailed

Networking Reception: 6-8pm

The Winter School is delivered in partnership with the Technical University of Munich, Queens University Belfast and Pepsi under the umbrella of EIT Food (www.eitfood.eu).

The delegate group is made up of MSc and PhD students from European Institutions as well as early career researchers from across Europe, from a wide variety of discipline backgrounds ranging from science and engineering to management and sociology.

Registration is required by Friday 1 December.

If you would like to attend, please email Dr. Lili Jia lj340@cam.ac.uk  a short bio (150-200 words) PLUS a simple, non-technical description of the research that you are currently working on (75 words). Both will be shared with the other guests so please do not include any sensitive information.
