Dr Charlotte Carroll from the Research Strategy Office will speak about the drivers behind public engagement and what the University is doing to support researchers, including the Public Engagement with Research Awards which are designed to recognise excellence in public engagement at any career stage.

This will be followed by a Q&A session for you to raise any questions about how postdocs can get engaged in public events or promote their own research to the wider audiences.

Lunch will be provided.
